Free The Bunnies Life for #tossthetalc

Is there talc in your beauty products? It wasn’t until after I chose cruelty-free beauty that I began paying attention to product ingredients as well. Talc is in a TON of products we all use every day, and not only can it cause that annoying flashback in your setting powder, but more importantly, it can cause irreparable damage to your body.
.
It’s disappointing how many brands continue to use talc in their products when talcum powder has been known to contain asbestos, nickel, lead, and many other dangerous elements.
.
Talc can be found in #babypowder, makeup, body and shower products, lotions, and feminine hygiene products. Through rigorous research, experts have documented strong links between ovarian cancer through the use of feminine hygiene products containing talc.
.
Earlier this year, three products from @itsjojosiwa‘s makeup line at @Clairesstores were recalled after testing positive for #asbestos. I can only imagine parents’ concerns about the safety of their children’s health.
.
The European Union has completely banned the use of talc in ALL of their consumer products. Qatar has even banned #johnsonandjohnson #babypowder from their grocery shelves. Yet, talc is still allowed in the US and brands like #jnj just turn the other way.
.
Today, I’m partnering with @truthabouttalc to spread awareness on the dangers of talc and ask you to join forces with me to help ban talc from our products! Join me today and sign their petition to #TossTheTalc, which will demand brands to re-evaluate the ingredients they use and put their consumers’ health first.
